A Devotional Look at the Gospel of John Readers are saying: "refreshing"..."challenging"..."insightful"..."life-changing"..."easy to understand but deep." Augustine said that the Gospel of John is deep enough for an elephant to swim and shallow enough for a child not to drown. So rather than envisioning an elephant doing a ten-point dive into a very large swimming pool, see instead a book that is deep in insight and saturated with unique approaches to help us take a new look at the Gospel of John. Malcolm Cox from London, England, has poured out his heart in this book to help us better understand the heart of the apostle John, and ultimately the heart of God and his One and ONLY Son Jesus. In this book, Cox shares a devotional thought on each of the 21 chapters in the Gospel. Writing with insight and wry humor, he brings us a fresh look at the Gospel written by the one that Jesus loved. Good for seekers and longtime Christiansjust as is the
Gospel of John itself |

I wholeheartedly recommend this book. Malcolm uses a fresh approach to devotional study from his own personal experiences to help the reader engage with the gospel. His insights are profound and yet relate to what everyone goes through in life as a disciple. For his first book - he hit one out of the park with An Elephants Swimming Pool. This book helped me to look at John's gospel in a different way and I am better off for reading it.Daren Turner, Evangelist, Springfield, MO An Elephant's Swimming Pool gave me different insights
into Jesus and the disciples. It was interesting to read from an author
outside the U.S. to get a little different view of things. I also appreciate
Malcolms imagination into what some of the conversations may have
been like between Jesus and his disciples.-Chris Tang, Evangelist,
